Easter Crafts for Toddlers ~ Paper Plate Chick
We love making simple Easter crafts for toddlers, especially with paper plates.  Instead of creating a traditional paper plate chick, this time the girls wanted to make a princess chick.  They couldn’t resist adding a little bling.  With the addition of a little glitter, a few jewels and a crown, they created an adorable Princess Easter Chick.

Mateirals Needed:
- Paper Plate ~ ours were actually left over from a Thomas the Train birthday party.
- Yellow Tempera Paint
- White, Orange and Yellow Paper
- Glitter
- White Glue
- Jewels
The girls added glitter to the wings for a little extra sparkle.  We have found that watering down White Glue with water (50/50) works great for adhering glitter.
The eyes were simple circles punched from white paper and dotted with a sharpie. Â Large googly eyes would look great too.
Since the goal was to make a princess chick…a crown was totally necessary. Â The girls found a sheet of scrapbooking paper that had a embossed crown, and cut it out. Â Next came the jewels. Â I love the little “bracelets” they added to the chicks wings. Â Adorable.
Happy Spring!
