Easter Activity for Preschoolers ~ Shape Bunny Craft
My kiddos love simple Easter Crafts!  Since Easter is right around the corner, we decided to create a set of shape bunnies.  They are a fun way for young kids working on shape recognition.  Why not create a set of adorable, funny and silly little shape  bunnies!
Exploring shapes with kids can be so much fun.  Plus who said math had to be serious.  We made a similar version for Thanksgiving that was a HUGE hit.  We had so much fun creating simple Shape Turkeys, that we had to make an Easter version.
I RECEIVED FREE CREATIFY PRODUCTS FROM HORIZON GROUP USA IN EXCHANGE FOR MY FAIR AND HONEST REVIEW. ALL OPINIONS EXPRESSED ARE 100% MY OWN.
Materials needed:

- White Glue
I set out a number of white circles, triangles, rectangles, squares, hearts and ovals. Â Along with whiskers, eyes, heart noses and of course bunny ears. Â Everything they needed to create this simple bunny craft.
Armed with a bottle of glue, the kids pieced their adorable shape bunnies together.
There was lots of giggling as these little bunnies took shape. Â The kids are used to seeing bunnies created with circles or ovals, but not squares, rectangles, hearts and triangles.
They has so much fun creating their little shape bunnies, although the triangle bunny seemed to receive the most attention.
“Look, I made a mouse-bunny!”  Hahaha  Love it!
Don’t you think hearts make the best animals?  For Valentines Day we created a number of different heart animals. My favorites include this adorable Heart Hedgehog and this sweet little Heart Fish.  Who knew the simple heart was so versatile?  Love it!
We had so much fun with this simple math project. Â It was perfect for my preschoolers. Â Not only were they exposed to geometry and form (the world of math), but they had fun doing it!
