Easter Chick Craft ~ Yarn Paper Plate Chick
I am so excited to share our latest Paper Plate Chick with you. Did you see our glittery Princess Chick we shared the other day? The girls are in LOVE with them. Today we decided to make another chick, although this time we used yarn instead of glitter. The texture of the yarn feathers is so adorable!

The kids painted their plates with yellow paint. We love to use what we have on hand to make our crafts. These little chicks were created using left over Thomas the Train desert plates. Shhhhh…don’t tell anyone;)
While the kids were waiting for the paint to dry, they cut lots of little strips of yarn. They also cut the orange paper into feet, a beak and wings (strips of paper looped in half and stapled together).
Then it was time to glue, glue and glue some more.
Meet our model for the day…Ugg the Baby Chick (named because of her “boot like” feather covered feet) Isn’t she just the cutest? Not sure the resemblance is completely accurate, but adorable all the same!
