Easy Paper Plate Chick ~ Preschool Easter Crafts
The kids have total baby chick fever. It must be the 9 adorable little chicks we recently adopted and are residing in my dining room. Yep you read right, we have baby chicks in our dining room. Seriously adorable! If you don’t already know, we love simple paper plate crafts. Have you seen our adorable preschool easter crafts? We had so much fun creating our Princess Chick, this fluffy little Yarn Chick and more recently…our simplest paper plate chick ever!
You could easily use a yellow paper plate, but we my kiddos love to paint. Plus, I love being able to use what we have on hand. Who knew that Thomas the Train desert plates could look so cute. We simply turned the plates over and painted the backside.
Once the plates were dry, the kids glued on all the little bits that turned these plates into the most adorable little chicks ever. Googly eyes, triangle nose, feather wings and of course extra long accordion folded legs. Love it!
Did you spend hours as a kid creating simple folded paper fans? I totally did. Now my kids are constantly stealing paper to make their own fans.
Is your house as excited for Easter as ours?
