St. Patrick’s Day

I am so ready for spring to be here.  Nothing is better than jumping in puddles and watching everything turn green once again.  With spring comes our favorite green holiday…St. Patrick’s Day.  To celebrate, here is a quick post highlighting some of my favorite past St. Patrick’s Day Activities.

Shamrock crystals

Shamrock Crystals ~ St Patricks Day Activity

These sparkly Shamrock Crystals were a HUGE hit in our house.  I love how they shimmer in the sun.  This was our first attempt at making these fun crystals.  Since then we have made them for almost every holiday.

Credit Card Art

Scraping paint with credit cards is a fun twist on painting that your kids will love.  We used a rainbow of colors for St. Patrick’s Day.

Shamrock Sprouts

The kids loved tending to their mini sprout garden.  We were amazed that the sprouts grew without any soil!  We were surprised at how quickly they sprouted on the damp shamrock sponge.

St. Patrick’s Day School Lunch

Festive school lunches are always a hit in our house.  My kids love the corny jokes!  Your kids will get a kick out of few festive jokes on simple Shamrock shapes.

Stamping with Shamrock Cookie Cutters

Stamping with cookie cutters is a simple way for little ones to paint.  Cookie cutter painting is one of my go to holiday painting projects for little ones.  This is one of my favorite cookie cutters.

Racing Balloon Leprechauns

Racing balloon leprechauns was a HUGE hit!  There was a bit of set up, but totally worth it.  The kids favorite part was watching their leprechauns fly to the rainbow.

I have made tons of crystals with my kids, but none as cool as those shamrocks! I love them! I also can’t wait to race for the rainbow with my kiddos. Thanks for the great ideas!
