Valentines Day Craft for Kids ~Â Heart Shaped Mouse
Squeak Squeak!  Today we are once again creating more heart shaped crafts.  These little heart mice are so easy to make and perfect for Valentine’s Day. A few of their favorite heart crafts include a squirrel, a monkey, minions and this little hedgehog.  As you can see we are a little heart crazy over here!
THIS POST CONTAINS AFFILIATE LINKS FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE.
I actually don’t like mice, although mice crafts are another thing.  Have you seen our adorable little paper plate mice?  Totally cute!
Materials Needed:
- Grey, purple, white and black paper
- Black Yarn
- Purple Heart Bead
- Circle Punch ~ optional, but my kids love using ours!
- Printable Mouse PDF
How to make a Heart Mouse:
Print out our Mouse PDF, and cut out the pieces to use as a template.  Use the cut out shapes to trace onto the appropriate colored paper and cut out.  Then assemble and glue the pieces together.
Tiny circles can be hard for little ones to cut.  We love using Circle Punches to make adorable giant eyes, however googly eyes would look cute too.
Create little whiskers and a tail using black yarn.  We also threaded a little heart bead onto the tail just because.
This is a fun craft to go along with the book, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.  It is a cute book about an adorable mischieveous mouse.  If you haven’t read it to your kids yet, you need to!
