Simple Valentines Day Craft for Kids ~ Heart Fox
My kids have been crazy about foxes after we saw one at the cabin. Â Since they are also obsessed with creating heart animals, it seemed only natural to make a sweet little heart fox. Â These witty creatures are totally captivating and are the perfect subject for our next Valentines Day craft.

Materials needed:
- Orange, white and black paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Circle Punch – optional, but my kids love using it!
- Printable Fox PDF
Cut out a large orange heart. We found that a skinny/pointy heart looks more fox like, since foxes generally have a long pointy noses.  I made a simple PDF of our fox so you can print it off and use it as a template.  Just trace the shapes onto the paper and cut them out.
Also cut out a smaller white heart. Cut the heart in half and glue in place. Next, you need to glue on the heart shaped ears, beady eyes and finally the nose.
That’s it! Â Super quick and easy!
You could easily pair this simple fox craft with reading Roald Dahl’s “Fantastic Mr. Fox” or “Fox in Socks” by Dr. Seuss.
