I am all about using what we have on hand.  Which was white paper plates and white cotton balls.  So instead of going to in search of Pink Cotton Balls and Pink Paper Plates, we decided to paint our own.

While the paper plates dried, the kids painted the cotton balls.  You could glue them first and then paint, either way works.  The kids then squeezed dots of glue onto their plate for the paint covered cotton balls.

I love the little painty fingers!

The kids wrapped the pipe cleaner around their finger to make the perfect Piggy tail.  Added a cute little nose, ears and google eyes.  Voila an adorable little pig!

OMG SOOOO cute and fun – a little expensive if we make more than one…I was trying to think of something else other than cotton balls that are more accessible. Although I love love love the piggy!!!

The kids and I loved how fluffy the pig looks. Really adds dimension and gives a new twist to a paper plate craft. Tammy, we were so inspired by your Kids Craft Cotton Ball Pig we created a Lady Bug & Flamingo in your honor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVqE4UjC5cQ
