The Perfect Hard Boiled Egg ~ Easy to Follow Steps
Get a perfect hard-boiled egg every time with these simple tips. Â Get ready for tender whites and golden yellow yolks every time. Â So lets get cracking!
I’m excited to be teaming up with my good friend Nathan from Minnesota Cold for a fun series all about eggs.  We are sharing “egg-citing” experiments and unique ways to color eggs.  No traditional egg dye here!
This is our fail-proof method for absolutely perfect results — no special equipment required.
How to make the Perfect Egg ~ Every time!
- Place the eggs in saucepan ~ Make sure it is large enough to hold all the eggs in single layer.
- Fill with cold water ~ Just to cover eggs by 1 inch.
- Bring to a rolling boil
- Turn off your stove and cover your pot
- Let egg sit the hot water covered for 15 minutes
- Bring them to the sink, drain the hot water and  run cold water over the eggs until the shells are cold to the touch.
- Drain, refrigerate, peel and enjoy!
Insider Tips on How to Hard Boil Eggs Perfectly
- Eggs are easier to peel when they are about 10 days old.  Fresh eggs will boil the same, but the shells are harder to peel off and 1/2 the egg seems to be removed with the shell.
