Use our printable bat template, or have the kids draw their own.
The kids had so much fun making creepy crawly Yarn Wrapped Spiders and our adorable little yarn bees. So following the same model we used for making bees and spiders, we created a fun Halloween bat.
How to make a 5 minute bat Halloween decoration.
Paint the cardboard body black, and once it is dry have the kiddos wrap it with black yarn. Â The notches in the cardboard will keep the yarn from slipping.
Glue on bat wings and large goggly eyes. If you want, you can add more string to the back to act as a hanger. Â We made a few of them and hang them upside down in our front window.
