Please give a warm welcome to Katie from Gift of Curiosity who will be guest posting on Housing A Forest today. I have admired her blog for a while, so it is exciting to have her here sharing with us today.  Katie is a fun loving mom that enjoys engaging and encouraging her kids to learn through exploring their surroundings.  I absolutely adore her blog, so make sure to stop by Gift of Curiosity and say Hello!

Long before I had kids, I used to dabble in graphic design. Since starting Gift of Curiosity, I’ve used my graphics know-how to create educational printables for my kids and others to use. With spring upon us, I’ve had my mind on insects, and I am excited to announce that my new Insect Do-A-Dot Printables are now available for download exclusively through Housing a Forest. The download includes eight Do-A-Dot printables featuring an ant, bee, beetle, butterfly, cockroach, cricket, fly, and ladybug.
These printables are perfect for giving kids practice in one-to-one correspondence while also learning to identify various insects. You can download my Insect Do-A-Dot printables by clicking here.
And if you enjoy these printables, I invite you to check out the other printables I have created by visiting my printables page.

Thanks for sharing Katie!  I just printed off a set.  I know my daycare kiddos will love them, they are really excited about insects especially lady bugs.  Don’t forget to stop on by Gift of Curiosity and tell her you saw her post on Housing A Forest.  We all love comments and I know Katie would love to hear from you:) Â

Wow, these are beautiful! Thanks Katie for sharing. My kids will love them.
I totally agree Vicky! Katie out did herself with these beautiful printables:)
Love these! My boys are obsessed with insects.
My kids too! We are growing Lady Bugs right now and it is so coo!
Love these! Setting up a science corner for a centre and these set the tone for my plan! Thanks!
I love the idea of a science corner! Sounds like a wonderful way to use them!
Thanks so much. I’m a nighttime childcare teacher and we are working on bugs right now. I will have to do them in black and white, but my kiddo’s will love using my punches to punch out cirles to make them colorful.
Black and white or color, I;m sure the kiddos won’t mind. The kiddos will add all the color they need:)
So cute! We have a science corner these would be great for.
Thank you for spreading JOY and sharing at the Oh What a HAPPY Day party.
