DIY Kitchen Art for the Coffee Lover ~ Coffee Sack Art
Here is a sneak peek at what I am creating over at Inspired Home Style. Â Its one of the simplest projects we have made, and the best part it was completely free. Â Seriously, how cool is that!
Hop on over to Inspired Home Style to see how we made our simple kitchen art!
Ready for a little secret…that won’t be a secret for long…I’m starting a new blog!
I have been dreaming about this for a while and I am finally taking the plunge!  Seriously I can’t even believe it!
You maybe wondering…what will be happening to Housing A Forest?
It will stay the same.  It is my favorite place to share all things kid related.  However, Inspired Home Style (my new blog), is where I will be sharing how we are slowly making our House our Home.  I would love for you to hop on over and check it out.  Inspired Home Style is band new, so a few friendly faces on our new Facebook page would really make my day!
Love it!!!!
These are wonderful! How lucky that the coffee shop gives them away!
These look really cute. I didn’t realize coffee shops give them away.
I have one large coffee bag from Brazil that I just tacked to the wall. I love it, too. 🙂

These are fantastic~ I love how you have framed the old sacks and really made them into fantastic works of art! 🙂 Would love if you would come share these at Feathered Nest Friday sometime!
What a great idea! Perfect (and cheap) decor idea for a kitchen.
Hi – visiting from Funky Junk Interiors. I love this idea! There’s a coffee shop here that sells at our farmer’s market and they sell coffee sacks. I think I’m going to borrow this idea. thanks! 🙂
Love this project!! I want some fun coffee bags, you’ll have to share your secret has where to find these little beauties!

We found these at a local coffee shop where they roast their own coffee. It might be worth asking your local coffee shop if they receive their coffee in burlap sacks. The smaller coffee companies are probably more helpful than the larger chains. I hope this helps.
Heather~
We purchased 25 on ebay for about $20! We’ve always been able to find great ones on ebay.
Best Wishes~

So cute! Love that you can use the window frames.
These are fantastic! So clever! And I love that you appreciate discarded “junk” more than flowers! My kinda gal!
I LOVE these! I love burlap anyway, BUT….. my maiden name is Dunn. Is there ANY way I can coax you into getting some of these & shipping them to me to make presents for my family (Dad & Uncles)? I’ll be more than happy to pay shipping & whatever else you might need (within reason of course, LOL).
PS- found you through Not Just A Housewife’s linky party.
these are FABULOUS!! l just love that look!! i would love for you to link them up at our link party going on now!!
Amy
First of all – LOVE this idea and may just have to stop in to Dunn Bros. next time I am back in Minneapolis. I grew up in MN and we try to get back a couple times a year. My husband loved this project too! The colors on the bags are so vibrant. Love that! Great job!!!
Love these!!! Thank you so much for linking them up to Think Pink Sundays! The display is so fun and rustic – what great artwork for your kitchen!
I’m sharing on my FB page! 🙂
over from marvelously messy.. absolutly love the coffee sack art. i did a post about things made with coffee sacks. i wish i would have seen these earlier.
Love this! What a great way to reuse the windows! Plus, the coffee sack display idea is great!
Those are so cute and original! I just saw an idea this weekend at Antique Alley in Texas where they used coffee bags to cover dresser drawers. There is a picture on my site you should check out. A coffee bag dresser would look great under your framed bags.
These are great! Better than any Starbucks art I’ve seen ;o) I have a coffee sack from Guatemala that I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with..this is an idea! thanks!
Love this!! What a fabulous idea and I love that they were free!

I just found 3 large coffee burlap sacks at a yard sale and have been searching online for ideas on what to do with them. I stumbled onto your website and I love your idea. I am going to do this with mine. Thanks so much for the tips.
You really make it seem so easy along with your presentation but I find this matter to be really something which I think I might by no means understand. It seems too complicated and very large for me. I’m having a look forward in your subsequent submit, I will try to get the hang of it!
